Paintshop Services

The paintshop is equipped with sand-blasting tools, in order to ensure complete corrosion protection. Additionally there are also specialised facilities for any sort of high-end spray-coating or varnishing. If necessary, it is also possible to enclose large outdoor objects with a plastic tent, prior to starting a paintjob. This means that SHIPTEC is capable of completing large-scale paint assignments at remote locations or directly at the client’s base.

• Expertise and consultancy on coating technology
• Supervision and certification of corrosion protection through a FROSIO-certified employee (paint inspector)
• Visual or ultrasonic hull inspections, including detailed protocols for the inspection authorities 
• Sand-blasting and corrosion protection
• Spray-coating or varnishing
• Gilding and leaf-gilding
• Complete plastic encasing of large outdoor objects for paint purposes
