Project description
In 2019, Shiptec was awarded the contract to supply a floating suction dredger to BKW. The ‘Spiezmoosweiher’ artificial reservoir is regularly cleared of sediment using the floating suction dredger. The 35 tonne suction dredger is operated electro-hydraulically via a long power cable. A sales and engineering team developed and implemented a solution tailored to suit the customer’s needs together with Dragflow’s Italian partner.
