Project description

CGN divided the renovation up into various sub-projects. Shiptec AG received an order to carry out shipbuilding and steelwork on the hull and superstructure with additional construction and installation of a new bow thruster. Furthermore, Shiptec was able to carry out the installation of drive units with ventilation and the installation of additional bulkheads.

Intensive work phases included the repair of the outer shell from September 2015 to November 2015, during which the over 250 m2 surface was replaced, as well as the new production and assembly of the sponsons from March 2016 to May 2016.
