Replacement of the wooden deck
Goals
The key reason for the revarnishing was the normal wear and tear of the varnish over the years and additional damage to the deck. During the course of the project, the owners expressed a desire to renovate the old rear section. The wooden interior of the rear section was partially rebuilt or professionally restored. Furthermore, the huge wooden boat lifts in the boathouse were replaced with new ones. Only the usual servicing and small-scale repairs were carried out on the historic engine.
It was always important to us and the owner that this historic boat be preserved in its original form and that the style of the boat could be maintained.
